In this article Dutch designer Boyan Slat, founder and CEO of The Ocean Cleanup, has announced the first ocean cleaning system. This gigantic flotation device utilizes the oceans natural currents into trapping plastic. This is still a very experimental product and will hopefully be put onto trial in 2016 off the coast of Tsushima, Japan to test how efficient and effective this device will be and if it truly is the answer to our problem of plastic covered oceans.

As seen in this article hope that there shall be a breakthrough in East Africa's strong poaching problem in the next year is strong. This problem of poaching has been a long fought issue with poachers somehow escaping imprisonment with "lost files" and other loop holes. Due to this over twenty three percent of poaching cases have been dropped or dismissed for lack of evidence and other poor excuses. This new hope is mainly due to the newly elected Tanzanian president, John Pombe Magufuli, who is taking an aggressive approach against poaching and corrupt politicians.

In this article we can see that more and more urban populous have begun to finally take notice of the drought and begin to change their lifestyles. This is mostly caused from nagging of neighbors and roommates but people will begrudgingly change do to the increase in risk of water shortages. This increase of risk is mostly caused by Gov. This species will most likely be removed from federal protection later this year.
As can be seen in this article, China's president, Xi Jingping, has made a commitment to limit and put a price on China's greenhouse gas emission. This commitment is called the cap-and-trade system and will hopefully change the rate of climate change due to China being one of the biggest polluters and users of fossil fuels. Part of the reason Xi Jingping has decided to do this is due to the large complaints from Beijing residents and residents of surrounding turns of the extremely thick and dangerous air pollution that constantly plagues them Another reason steps are being take is that it would prove to be more cost effective to the coal burning giant.
As can be seen in this article, a rising concern that has arisen, due to the massive wild fires spreading over California, would be the danger posed towards the many native sequoias. In this very article, the Middle East is suffering from a gaunt raging sandstorm that has killed 2 people and hospitalized a multitude of others. As can be seen in this article a rising concern is the amount of plastic sea birds are consuming. Due to the steady increase of plastic production, that doubles around every eleven years, sea birds everywhere have been effected. Plastic consumption by these birds causes punctures in their internal organs, weight problems and a lack of room in their guts for real food. Plastic is one of the main causes for the 67% decline in seabird populations and without any effort the numbers will continue to drop.
